spring & summer trends – MAKEUP

Following up the post about HAIRTRENDS with some inspiring MAKEUP TRENDS for spring/ summer 2020.
Not sure if we can summarize summermakeup trends in words, but if I were to try, I would say:

• Primary Colours
• Euphoria
• Playfulness
• Metallic
• Matte Lips
• Florals

The HBO series, EUPHORIA – is it probably the biggest inspiration for spring & summer trends in makeup overall? I think so.

Perhaps the Euphoria influence, is bordering to the METALLIC TREND?
I loved the Off-White meteor shower makeup and the graphic gold liners Pat McGrath created for Valentino.

MATTE LIPS  (always a good idea if you ask me) can be worn in any colour.

For spring summer I love a bright fuchsia and coral. Complements sunkissed skin perfectly.
Below a matte vivid tangerine at Versace.

FLORALS  were big for spring. ( no surprise!)

Here seen on the Giambattista Valli show.  BEAUTIFUL! Maybe not so wearable, but very inspiring!
