Soap as Shampoo?
Really?
Can one wash the hair with a soap bar?
I am eager to try since all I´ve heard are cherishing words.
This soap from Syria, the Aleppo soap, contains laurel leaf oil, and is supposedly very good as a non-toxic alternative to our everyday shampoo.
Not only does it clean well, it also has anti-fungural, anti-itching and anti bacterial properties.
All beneficial for a good scalp-health in other words.
After rubbing the soap along the scalp and working up a foam, you should finish the washing procedure with a stringent, like apple cider vinegar or lemon juice for best result and shiny healthy bouncy hair.
