My best bet for dry winter hands

What to do when the temperature drops and your skin is suffering and your hands are super dry?
My best bet is to do a soak, scrub and salve.

This is how I do it:
    1. Soak the hands in lukewarm water
    2. Use a hand scrub to exfoliate the skin and get rid of dead skin cells
    3. Rinse and dry your hands well.
    4. Massage your hands gently and thoroughly with a really good handcream.

My Emergency-tip for REALLY dry hands, is to sleep with thin cotton gloves on, with an overnight handmask, or soaking your hands in olive oil.
You will wake up with babysoft hands. Promise!
My 101-year old Grandma taught me the olive oil trick as a teenager, and that is her only skin saviour.
She has never used makeup in her life, or moisturizer for that matter, only olive oil, and her skin is a soft as silk.

ps Try and use protection gloves when cleaning your house or washing the dishes. Water is your worst enemy in cold weather! ds

    Have a great weekend!
