Met , Lashes , Go!

Unless you’ve been ignoring social media this week you’ve probably not missed that the yearly Met gala in New York was held this monday.

It is a recurring event, also called Costume Institute Gala held at The Metropolitan Museum of New York on Manhattans Upper East Side, the first Monday in May.

This years theme was CAMP and I loved to see ( almost) every celebrity´s big effort in getting their outfits and look on point.
I am so impressed with fellow makeupartists who truly had a moment to show off their brilliance, and at the same time show the world that this is a job that demands devotion, research, creativity and craftsmanship!

2019 years biggest makeuptrend was no doubt the HUGE, fake, custombuilt, 3D-lashes , closely followed by feathers in all forms.

The most extravagant looks was seen on these well-known faces below.

Im sure this is a trigger for us to see bigger lashes the rest of 2019. Some inspiration below.
