spring & summer trends – HAIR

    Switching things up.
I personally feel overwhelmed with information regarding our current situation, and am thinking we need something a little less heavy to digest it all. If only for a few minutes. Thats how I feel at least.
How about looking at some inspiring beauty trends for spring?
I mean we’ve got the time to try them out at home?
    But perhaps nowhere to go.

Let´s look at what Hairtrends we see for spring/ summer 2020.

    BRAIDS are back

These beautiful styles were seen Alexander McQueen and the pigtail plaits at Dior and Max Mara.
    Want some more braid-inspiration?
I recommend checking out creative hairdresser Efie Davies  instagram page.

    UPDATED RETRO

Loved these updated versions of a retro hairstyle above.
Low side parts at Ports 1961, Finger waves at Ermanno Scervino, the 90s sideflipped bangs at Balmain and the comeback of the Haircomb at Tory Burch.

So easy to transform any hairstyle with this timeless hairaccessory.

These vintage ones from Yves Saint Laurent caught my eyes on Vestiaire.com

    WET LOOKS
This long wetlook hairstyle was seen on the runway at Lanvin. Below are some more inspiring wetlook styles

Unsure how to do create a wetlook hairstyle?
Try a gel based product to create desired texture.
A lot of spray-gel applied on wet hair and a wide toothed comb, usually works for me.

    THE KNOT

The beloved knot were shown in some inspiring variations for summer. The easier and more haphazard it looks the better, I think.
    Which is your favourite style?
The two topknots at Fendi? Or the gathered classic at the nape at Victoria Beckham . Or the messy multiple knots enhanced with  green hue at Nicole Miller?

    THE CLASSIC PONYTAIL
For spring summer 2020 we wear the pony low.
Tie it with a black ribbon or fasten it with multiple layers of string.
    Easy does it.

    EXTERNAL EMBELLISHMENTS
This trend goes for both  hair and makeup.
Loved the feather fringes at Dries Van Noten, flowers at Giambattista Valli and pearl embroidered cornrows above.
    Let your imagination run free!

Next we look at some inspiring MAKEUP looks for Spring summer 2020.

    Until then, Take Care!
