Guido Palau

Guido (som uttalas Gwee-doe) benämns oftast med just bara förnamnet.
Inom modebranschen vet alla vem han är, och Guido är en av världens mest eftertraktade och innovativa hårstylister.
Guido är uppvuxen i England och började sin bana som frisör på Vidal Sassoon på 80-talet, men blev sparkad därifrån, när han hade fyllt i sitt dagsschema på salongen med enbart påhittade kunder ,med kända namn som Barbra Streisand mfl
Kort därefter fick Guido sitt genombrott när han stylade håren på Supermodellerna Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista mfl i George Michaels kända video Freedom!´90 .
Sen började Guido jobba tillsammans med fotografen David Sims, Kate Moss och Makeupartisten Diane Kendal, för tidningar som The Face och I-D och förevigade grunge-kulturen och dess look.
Numera är Guido Global Creative Director för Redken och han är en konstant figur backstage på modevisningar hos PRADA, MARC JACOBS, RALPH LAUREN, DOLCE & GABBANA etc
Guido snittar på ca 30+ internationella modevisningar per säsong och han är en hårstylist som faktiskt skapar trender som resten av oss i världen följer, oavsett om vi vet om det eller ej.
British Fashion Council inkluderar Guido i listan “25 Most Powerful People in the fashion Industry”.
Guido gav nyligen ut en fantastiskt inspirerande bok med namnet HAIR

Guido (pronounced Gwee-doe) is often referred to by just his first name.
In the fashion industry everybody knows who he is, and Guido is one of the world’s most sought after and innovative hairstylists.
Guido grew up in the UK and began his career as a hair stylist at Vidal Sassoon, in the 80’s, but was sacked, when he was caught filling out his daily clientroster with only famous make believe-customers like Barbra Streisand among others..
Shortly thereafter though, Guido got his breakthrough, when he got to style the hair of Supermodels Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and others in George Michael’s famous video Freedom!´90.
Then Guido began working with photographer David Sims, Kate Moss and makeupartist Diane Kendal for magazines such as The Face and I-D and immortalized grunge culture and its look.
Nowadays Guido is the Global Creative Director for Redken and he is a constant figure backstage at fashion shows such as Prada, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana etc.
Guido does in average 30 international fashion shows per season and he is a hairstylist who actually creates trends, as the rest of us in the world follows, whether we know it or not.
British Fashion Council now include Guido in the “25 Most Powerful People in the Fashion Industry” list.
